We are continuing the work of Jesus... peacefully, simply, together.

The Atlantic Southeast District is a geographic region of the Church of the Brethren (COB) comprising of 20 churches within the states of Florida. Beyond local churches, the ministry of the ASE is also bolstered by one church camp and district gatherings that encourage spiritual growth and leadership development.

The mission of the ASE is to care for our congregations and fellowships by enabling ministry in them, by fostering an inter-connectedness among them, and by implementing, coordinating and supporting ministries beyond them.

The Church of the Brethren is a Christian denomination whereby its central emphasis is not a creed, but a commitment to follow Christ in simple obedience, to be faithful disciples in the modern world. Tracing its history back to 1708, the COB believes in God as Creator and loving Sustainer, confess the Lordship of Christ, and seeks to be guided by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of life, thought, and mission.

The Church of the Brethren values:

  • Peace, peaceful living.
  • Simplicity, modest nonconformity.
  • Community, living out faith together.
